iPad Mini with Retina Display is the newest variant of the iPad Mini from Apple. It is the latest device in Apple's "Mini" series and builds on the specs offered on its predecessor which was the first compact tablet from Apple. The device features an oleophobic (fingerprint resistant) 7.9-inch LED-backlit IPS Retina Display having a much higher HD resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It weighs much less than a pound and sits at 7.5mm thin making it easily portable.

This November 2013 released tablet comes with Apple's latest A7 chipset. This 64-bit chips is the same one that's been introduced in the iPhone 5s and the iPad Air. A7 chipset not only features a superior processor than its predecessor, but also offers an M7 motion coprocessor that enhances speed of operation of the primary A7 chip. The camera houses a 5-element lens and comes with Hybrid Infrared filter as well. You can zoom up to 3x while capturing videos with iSight.
